Brennia Kottefaru recently organized an exclusive wine-tasting event in collaboration with renowned champagne producer Vollereaux. The occasion offered attendees a unique sensory experience while highlighting the wonderful flavours and smells of Vollereaux champagnes. The personnel of the resort also had the chance to take part in wine-tasting seminars organized by Vollereaux specialists.
Winemaking at Vollereaux, a family-run champagne business, dates back to 1805. Victor in Pierry and Moussy founded the business, which has flourished from its modest beginnings to become well-known. The Vollereaux estate in Pierry is home to ancient, underground wine cellars that date to the nineteenth century.
The dedication to their work that the Vollereaux family has shown for generations has been passed down. After World War II, Jules and Jean-Marc were instrumental in reviving the estate, protecting the family company, and maintaining its cohesion. Franck, the current president of Vollereaux, carries on their history by updating the winemaking process and broadening the company's selection of wines.
It was an honour for Brennia Kottefaru Resort to work with Vollereaux on this amazing wine-tasting occasion. Guests enjoyed the distinctive flavours of Vollereaux champagnes against the breathtaking Maldives setting. In addition, the event gave staff employees useful wine expertise through entertaining courses taught by Vollereaux specialists.
“We are thrilled to have hosted Vollereaux and provided our guests and staff with an exclusive opportunity to appreciate their exceptional champagnes,” said Ali Zahir, Chairman of Brennia. “This event reflects our commitment to delivering extraordinary experiences and fostering continuous learning for our team.”
