This October, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands will host an immersive culinary experience thanks to a partnership with best-selling food author and international TV presenter Rachel Khoo.

She will be in charge of this year's Master of Crafts and Craftmanship Calendar, which includes a number of custom guest experiences, from October 29 to October 31.

Rachel Khoo will lead an exquisite choux pastry masterclass for adults and children, a delectable breakfast grazing table, and launch a "Guest Judge" bake-off among visitors with the use of her finely tuned armoury of innovative culinary qualifications. After that, she will also go to a Maldivian farmer's market and work with the resort's acclaimed culinary staff on a Maldivian cooking class.

Rachel Khoo is well known for her distinctive outlook and method of approaching food, which resulted in the creation of novel dishes, a highly developed palate, and an original outlook on all of her culinary creations. A true culinary connoisseur, Rachel Khoo has appeared on the international stage as well as in the kitchens and living rooms of home cooks through her 15 TV shows, making her a beloved food celebrity throughout the world.

Some of her most well-known television appearances include Rachel Khoo's appearances on Remarkable Places to Eat on BBC2, The Little Paris Kitchen on BBC Worldwide, Rachel Khoo's Chocolate on Discovery Network UK, Rachel Khoo's Simple Pleasures on Food Network, and Rachel Khoo: My Swedish Kitchen, the television adaptation of Rachel's best-selling cookbook The Little Swedish Kitchen.

Rachel Khoo has judged and co-judged on numerous cooking competition shows, including Zumbo's Just Desserts with renowned pastry chef Adriano Zumbo, Australia's popular My Kitchen Rules, and BBC's Great British Menu, in addition to her prominent roles on television. She will also serve as a judge for Season 6 of The Great Australian Bake-Off this summer.

Guests can take part in a choux pastry masterclass where Rachel Khoo will teach them the tricks of the trade while she is staying at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. Pastry lovers can whip up scrumptious creams and adorn their choux to rival a Parisian pâtisserie under the guidance of the invited visitor. Her breakfast grazing table, which features little choux pastries with enticing ingredients like exquisite Greek yoghurt, fruit coulis, fresh berries, chocolate, and more, is also something that guests can look forward to.

Rachel Khoo will visit a Maldivian farmer's market as part of her exploration of the Maldives in order to learn about local products and see how fisherman bring in their catch of the day. Following that, she will try century-old recipes handed down through generations while hosting a Maldivian cooking class with the culinary staff. Before wrapping up her tour, Rachel Khoo will preside over a bake-off with the theme "Guest Judge," where enthusiastic bakers among the visitors can showcase dishes from one of her many best-selling cookbooks and be judged by the author herself on flavour, presentation, efficiency, and speed.
