Thomas Schult has been named as the new General Manager of the opulent Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa.

Thomas has more than 20 years of experience with Marriott and a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry.

He has held a variety of positions inside the organization, including Market Director of Revenue Strategy for both Europe and Asia, and he specializes in revenue management. He also served as the general manager of the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa and the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort during his two Task Force postings. 

Thomas most recently held the position of Area Director of Revenue Strategy, Indonesia, where he excelled at increasing the company's revenue and market share.
