On June 10th, CROSSROADS Maldives, the first multi-island, integrated vacation spot in the Indian Ocean, unveiled its full-day schedule in honour of Global Wellness Day.

Numerous soul-stirring activities are included in the schedule, such as #DanceMagenta, a dynamic dance program for all ages and skill levels.

As a global campaign dedicated to promoting the advantages of good physical, mental, and spiritual health, Global Wellness Day was first observed in 2012. With the aim of encouraging everyone to enhance their well-being, it is now observed in many countries around the world. This year's empowering event featured a three-hour livestream that brought together wellness enthusiasts from all around the world.

At CROSSROADS, numerous curated sessions were held at The Marina @ CROSSROADS, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and SAii Lagoon Maldives, both of which are part of Hilton's Curio Collection. The day's theme this year was #DanceMagenta, which emphasized the empowering and freeing energy surrounding dancing. The subject was presented in three simple phases, which enabled everyone to interact and experience the joy of dancing with;

1. Dance with your Body (as a form of physical exercise)

2. Dance with your Mind (as a means of meditation)

3. Dance with Life (incorporate dancing in all aspects of your daily routine)

 On June 10, 2023, at 16:30, Amanda organized a #DanceMagenta class at The Marina @ CROSSROADS in keeping with the theme. All visitors to the location were welcomed to take part in this energizing activity and have fun. On the same day, The Marina further held a Street Market with vendors selling goods and services related to wellness.

A series of complimentary classes were also available to guests staying at SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, as part of the celebrations for Global Wellness Day. Awakening "Morning Yoga" at the SAii Beach Club kicked off the festivities at dawn, and then sessions of revitalizing "Dance for your Soul" took place at Miss Olive Oyl, the Pool Bar, and the lawn.

Visitors gathered for "Sunset Yoga" in the evening before engaging in a profoundly spiritual "Dance with your Thoughts" experience and an "Evening Walk." Afterwards, guests were invited to dine at Miss Olive Oyl, a beachside Mediterranean seafood grill and bar, or Kinkao, a chic Thai bistro, for a "Healthy Dinner." All SAiiLanders said goodbye to the day with a 'Detox Mocktail Party' including a live DJ!

'Morning Yoga' at The Pavilion, which was complemented by nutritious juice and energy shots, marked the beginning of Global Wellness Day at the beach resort inspired by music. This guaranteed that visitors had enough energy for a 'Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Beginner Class' held at the Red Mat martial arts centre. Additionally, visitors were able to participate in a tastefully prepared "Aeria Arts Beginner Class" to add some colour to their diverse experiences.
