This Easter, former English Premier League player Robert Green will be inspiring the next generation of professional football players at the five-star Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences. He will be staying at the resort from April 7th to April 11th and will be leading an exciting children's football camp as part of Amilla's Easter festivities this year.

During his visit, he would hold daily 2-hour Masterclass Boot Camps for kids, with no additional fees for involvement. All children who participate in pro coaching lessons will be awarded certificates and medals at the event's closing ceremony. Green's Football Camp is part of Amilla's larger Easter program for 2023, which includes a variety of bespoke activities and experiences for guests of all ages to interact and immerse themselves in.

Robert Green was a notable player in both the Premier League and the English Football League throughout his career, and he has also represented England at the international level. He made his Norwich City debut in 1999 and appeared in 241 games for the club, even reaching the PFTA Team of the Year when they won the First Division in 2003-04.

Green then moved on to West Ham United, where he was awarded Player of the Year in 2008, and then to Queens Park Rangers, where he helped them win the playoffs again in 2014. He moved to Leeds in 2016, where he played two seasons before retiring in 2019 after two successful Premier League seasons with Huddersfield Town and Chelsea.

This Easter, Amilla Maldives' theme is Treasure Island, based on Robert Louis Stevenson's famous story of the same name. The resort will also include both Easter and Orthodox Easter in its schedule, prolonging the Easter celebrations until April 16, 2023. Guests will be spoilt for options in the heart of Baa, with plenty to look forward to, including Green's Kids Football Camp.
