Ekaterina Makarova, the former world number one in doubles and number eight in singles will make a guest appearance at Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences this April to assist guests in improving their tennis skills. The dazzling Russian tennis player will be in residence at the resort from April 6th to 17th, providing two masterclasses, private tennis lessons, and a meet-and-greet session.

Celebrity tennis professionals will take upon the roles of coaches at the resort, offering one-on-one training sessions and more to the resort's valued guests, thanks to Amilla's collaboration with RTC Tennis. Ekaterina is the newest addition to Amilla's stellar roster, arriving to delight guests during Easter and Orthodox Easter at the property.
RTC's offerings include individual coaching, free group classes, and an action-packed activity schedule for guests to use, in addition to bringing celebrity tennis players to the resort. It caters to all ages and even offers coaching lessons for children! The five-star resort is proud of its US Open-standard tennis courts, which have been resurfaced in cobalt blue and are set among the lush greenery of the rainforest. Both courts have floodlights, enabling guests to practice their serves even during the cooler hours of the day.
