Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences, a luxurious five-star resort, is celebrating Easter in a unique way by welcoming buccaneers and marauders on an Easter program with a "Treasure Island" theme.
From April seven to April 16, Amilla Maldives will embark on a spectacular schedule of events and activities that are inspired by the well-known story by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Amilla Maldives is inviting a brilliant crew to the island, bringing with them many unique skills to keep the spirits high at the centre of the Indian Ocean, to help make this Easter an unforgettable event in paradise. Des and Zoie O'Connor, two of the island's well-known animators, will be in charge of all children's activities, while Ivan, a fire dancer, will enliven nights with electrifying dinnertime performances.
Also, Yang Wei, a conjuring magician, will captivate visitors with his enigmatic abilities while Felipe and Evgenia, a duet of aerialists, will wow them with their acrobatic acts. Sand artist Daria will be displaying her work using sand in a fully immersive experience, adding even more flair to the event. In terms of entertainment, Amilla Maldives welcomes DJ Tappu and local band, Defnote, who will both light up the stage with captivating live performances, to the resort.
This Easter, a very rare visitor will also take up residence at the resort, providing tennis enthusiasts with the opportunity to train with a real pro. This April, Ekaterina Makarova, a former World No. 1 in doubles and No. 8 in singles, will be a guest at the Amilla Maldives, where she will give tennis lessons to hotel guests directly on-site. All tennis aficionados will have a place to play on the resort's recently renovated US Open-standard tennis courts, which can be raised even further by special tennis events & activities provided by Amilla's tennis partner, RTC Tennis.
The Sultan's Kids Cub provided an intriguing schedule of events, several of which had an Easter theme, which is the cherry on top. This features the traditional Easter Egg Hunt, Beatbox Academy, Easter Circus School, and fun crafts aplenty inspired by pirates. Even for adults, there are a variety of engaging and motivating programs available, like hot cross bun-making lessons, batik workshops, and an Easter roll session designed for Orthodox Easter celebrants. At the resort, there is a sensory team-building activity that teaches adults how to work together in a group.
