A worrying 73% of participants in a study performed in Britain felt they had too much on their plates, and the results showed that the typical person experiences stress three times every day. The study also discovered that, on average, more than 50% of those surveyed agreed that January is the most stressful month of the year. 39% of participants chose to go for a walk as their stress-reduction method, while 29% chose to enjoy the sunshine. 16% of respondents agreed that listening to the sound of waves breaking on a beach soothes them, while 9% thought going for a swim was the best course of action.

In relation to unwinding, Dr Tang says “People have been under an increasing amount of stress over the years, from navigating through a pandemic to managing the current economic state. Relaxing is extremely important, and we often underestimate how vital it is to ensure we lead healthy and fulfilled lives, which is why working on such a picturesque island like Coco Bodu Hithi is such a dream job for me.”

With the huge variation in fresh produce coupled with the idyllic island, Coco Bodu Hithi offers guests the perfect combination of sun, sea, and sand to help guests unwind.” Through mindful exercises that can be done on the island, Dr Tang will help guests thoroughly decompress and destress at the resort. This entails participating in positive psychology classes with visitors and associates, affirmations and aim setting, guided barefoot walks, and more.
