Dr Rui Pedro Loureiro, a renowned expert in traditional Chinese medicine, is visiting The Standard, Hurawalhi Maldives' crystal-clear waters this December.
From December 15, 2022, until January 30, 2023, Dr Rui will dwell at the opulent resort and provide guests with alternative medical treatments.
Dr Rui, a very driven and enthusiastic person, started his career in Chinese medicine in China, where he finished his undergraduate studies at Chengdu's University of Chinese Medicine. He continued to expand his skill set by completing a postgraduate degree in cosmetic acupuncture from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and CMIR/ACUMEDIC in London. He has been studying Chinese medicine for the past two decades.
Dr Rui has worked in numerous hospitals and clinics in China, London, and Portugal over the course of his career. He is currently assigned to Portugal. In addition to serving as the Clinical Director of Clinica Cura Pura in Aveiro, Portugal, he currently oversees the Chinese Medicine Department of St. Louis Hospital in Lisbon. His years of clinical practice have made him a diagnostic guru and enhanced his capacity to combine conventional diagnostics with ancient wisdom.
