The Nautilus Maldives has announced the launch of the Nautilus Foundation, a public charity established to create pathways for a better future through expanded possibilities in education, growth, and development, in honour of the late Dr Ibrahim Umar Maniku.

Through helpful collaborations and connections, the nonprofit organization will work toward increasing economic possibilities, improving healthcare, and encouraging community involvement.

With the aid of cutting-edge tactics that will foster social growth and have long-lasting effects, this charitable endeavour aims to give Maldivians the opportunity to realize their full potential. The foundation, which was established along with other partners from the Dr Maniku's portfolio of businesses, aims to aid in the growth of imaginative and clever brains. As a result, it will offer a range of grants and scholarships for people looking to be the best in their disciplines.

Dr Maniku was a visionary leader and pioneer in the Maldives, and the Nautilus Foundation honours his legacy and pays tribute to it. He served as a teacher, mentor, and father figure for many people he knew. He was also known for having the courage to do something that most others would consider impossible. Dr Maniku spent most of his life working to improve possibilities in the Maldives with an ambitious and steadfast dedication to pursue continual improvement.

The foundation hopes to follow in his footsteps in this area by cultivating connections with internationally renowned institutions, societal influencers, and trailblazing community organizations that share a similar goal for ongoing development. It will promote societal growth in these industries and boost the Maldivian economy by placing a focus on the medical, educational, hospitality, engineering, media, and aviation sectors. The foundation will offer recipients mentoring and financial assistance through scholarships and interest-free loans to help them reach their full potential.

Regardless of their gender, age, or origin, the charity will support the development of both established professions and new and emerging fields to enhance and hasten progress. It will do this by guiding the development of the nation and giving back to the community.
