World's first traveler loyalty program launched by a country, Maldives Border Miles, has gotten enriched with yet again new resort partners--Cocoon Maldives and You & Me by Cocoon.
Cocoon Maldives, located in Lhaviyani Atoll, is the first designer-resort in the Maldives. The five-star property is designed by internationally acclaimed designer Daniele Lago. You & Me Maldives is an adults-only 5-star resort targeting couples and honeymooners, and is located in Raa Atoll.
Maldives Border Miles is an initiative by Maldives Immigration, Tourism Ministry and the Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (Visit Maldives). All tourists who visit Maldives can enroll in the Border Miles and acquire points for each border crossing--or win additional points for visits to celebrate special occasions.
The tiered program has three levels:
- Aida (bronze tier): up to 500-2,000 points
- Antara (silver tier): 2,000-4,000 points
- Abaarana (gold tier): above 4,000 points
As visitors move through tiers and acquire points, they win special benefits and privileges from partner properties.
The opportunity to become partners of Maldives Border Miles is open to all registered tourist establishments and businesses operating in Maldives.
