The Travel Summit of Travel Trade Maldives is set to go live today. The summit by TTM will continue for two days will be cast live on its platforms Facebook and Twitter virtually.
Travel Trade Maldives is a product of Orca Media Group, a leading media and marketing company in Maldives.
The summit is held under the theme ‘Reigniting Tourism in Maldives’ whereby travel industry professionals will discuss ways to reignite tourism in Maldives. This includes an analysis of market trends and the basic overview of Maldivian tourism industry as a whole since it was disrupted by COVID-19.
Tourism Minister, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom will also be speaking at the summit to share the government strategies to reignite tourism.
Other distinguished speakers at the event include Secretary General of MATI Ahmed Nazeer, Indian High Commissioner to Maldives Sunjay Sudhir, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Maldives Mohammad Nazmul Hassan, and the Managing Director of MMPRC Thoyyib Mohamed.
This year's summit will also bring in other perspectives to destination marketing strategies, as well as the challenges being faced within hospitality facilities.
The summit will be joined by a number of industry professionals across various aspects of tourism, such as resort managers, key members of leading OTAs, and airlines operating in the Maldives.
TTM Travel Summit is an annual event that brings together thought leaders, industry shapers, and senior decision-makers who are professionally engaged with tourism in the Maldives.
