Kandolhu Maldives in North Ari Atoll has reopened today.
The resort follows the footsteps of several other top-class resorts and hotels as well as guesthouses to reopen in Maldives after the four-month-long lockdown due to COVID-19.
The resort, just 70 km away from Velana International Airport is described as one of the most perfectly formed islands in the archipelago, with its distinct heart-shaped formation proving to be one of the most photogenic islands to capture from above.
The island is lush, with wide sandy beaches surrounding the emerald green and is home to one of the most colorful and lively house reefs in the Maldives.
Kandolhu is an idyllic resort which can be reached in 25 minutes by seaplane. It is an exquisite resort which features just 30 villas that perfectly combine natural elements of the nation with modern architecture and creature-comforts, to create a memorable experience.
Airport Hosts of the resort will greet guests on arrival, check them in for their seaplane, and escort guests to the terminal where guests can relax in a dedicated lounge while waiting for their scenic flight.
At the seaplane platform, guests will be met by the Guest Services team for a quick 10-minute speed boat ride to Kandolhu Maldives.
