Kuredu Island Resort and Spa in Lhaviyani Atoll has announced that it will be reopening in November 2020. The island was the location of the first COVID-19 case in the Maldives.
Quick measures taken in light of the case, helped to confine the spread of the virus from the resort to other islands. Affably known as one of the most "happening" resorts in the Maldives, Kuredu is now bringing back its team of staffers for the reopening.
In an Instagram post, the resort stated that it was extremely excited about the reopening.
"As we start getting excited about our reopening next month, more and more of the team at Kuredu are flying back to the island to start making sure everything is perfect for you (guests)" read the post.
