Indian actress Taapsee Pannu and her sisters are currently holidaying in the Maldives.
According to the Bollywood star's Instagram posts and stories, she and her sisters Shagun and Evania are enjoying their time at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives.
The trio arrived in Maldives on Tuesday on an IndiGo flight and were sharing updates all throughout their journey to the Emboodhoo Finolhu, the island where Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives is located on.
The award-winning 33-year-old actress and her sisters shared with their followers, some memorable moments in the Maldives including a swim in their villa's infinity pool, working out at Taj Exotica's fitness gym that looks out onto the turquoise lagoon of Emboodhoo Finolhu, and feeding stingrays on the island's beach.
"When god said heaven on Earth, I'm sure he meant Maldives. I'm at my favorite holiday destination. Say hello to Maldives!" said Taapsee in one of her story posts, that are now highlighted "Maldives ✌????" on her Instagram.
Maldives is slowly picking up on its renowned tourism industry after the downward effect of the coronavirus pandemic. Since the country's borders reopened on July 15th, properties have been opening for cautious, new-normal operations. Many famous faces and influencers have since made their mark in the Maldives too.
Just last August, Columbian singer Shakira alongside her Spanish footballer husband Gerard Piqué and kids were holidaying under the Maldivian sun in Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi. Indian actress Mouni Roy was celebrating her 35th birthday at Soneva Fushi last week. Israeli vlogger and influencer Nuseir Yassim--better-known as Nas Daily--and Emirati vlogger couple Khaled Al Ameri and Salama Mohamed, and were also seen at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa last August and September respectively.
Indian-Peruvian model and actress Elena Fernandes is also currently holidaying in the Maldives--at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives.
