In order to improve and renovate its facilities, the luxurious Huvafen Fushi Maldives has announced that its property would close in the second quarter of 2023. The resort will reopen this year in September after renovations, just ahead of the peak season. Currently, it is anticipated that the resort would shut down on May 15th and reopen to visitors on September 1st.

Huvanfen Fushi has set the standard for opulent hospitality in the Maldives ever since it opened, and it now welcomes an increasing number of devoted repeat visitors who keep coming back to the opulent resort. Huvanfen Fushi, renowned for its cutting-edge architecture and superior service standards, benefits from a prime location approximately 30 minutes from Velana International Airport.

The planned property improvements will prioritize conserving and honoring the genuine workmanship that distinguishes the resort from others and will work to strengthen connections with visitors through updated designs. In order to give its popular rooms a fresh makeover, the resort has enlisted the help of architects and interior designers from BLINK Design. The branding experts at Quo Global will also be working simultaneously to give Huvafen Fushi a new look by improving the brand's visual identity.

All 44 of the resort's magnificent bungalows will be renovated as part of this project, and for the grand opening, a brand-new type of lodging will be introduced. The lodging that is being highlighted is called "Two Bedroom Ocean Pavilions," and it was created to provide luxurious accommodations with minimalist modern aesthetics and expansive views of the Indian Ocean. The resort's beautiful natural surroundings served as inspiration for the design concept, and by September, two of these units will be prepared for public display.

“These renovations are part of a scheduled plan to improve the facilities and services provided by Huvafen Fushi. This investment will build on the Huvafen legacy and provide guests with a purposeful immersion on the island and allow us to maintain our positioning as a leading resort in the Maldives. This is an exciting new chapter for Huvafen Fushi,” Noel Cameron, general manager of Huvafen Fushi Maldives, said.
