The Sunny Side of Life and its delights are on display at Fitur 2023 thanks to the Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and business partners.

Fitur 2023, the first significant annual international travel industry gathering, bringing together top industry figures from the inbound and outbound tourist industries. The physical exhibition, which is being held at IFEMA MADRID's Recinto Ferial from January 18 to 22, invites both consumers and business professionals to learn more about the wide range of experiences offered in the Maldives.

The travel trade event oversees the gathering of travel agencies, wholesalers, hotels and lodging, carrier firms, and even recreational and cultural infrastructures. Being held in Spain attracts Spanish government agencies as well as regional travel media, opening up business prospects and giving attendees access to highly qualified and important travel buyers, influencers, and industry experts.

The Maldives are being promoted by MMPRC along with 41 business partners from 23 different companies. The company will emphasize the variety of markets in the Maldives at the event by highlighting the many goods, services, and activities offered there.

The major goal of taking part in Fitur 2023 is to increase Spanish tourists' awareness of the goods and experiences available in the Maldives and to establish a platform that will link Spanish and Maldivian industry professionals. As an added bonus, the MMPRC is also doing raffle drawings at the Maldives stand to provide four lucky winners with complimentary vacations.

Both consumers and members of the travel industry can participate, and all they have to do to enter is complete a short survey. On the first, third, fourth, and fifth days, raffles are performed with a winner chosen each time. Some of the best resorts in the Maldives, like Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi, Sun Siyam Resorts, Brennia Maldives, and Angsana Velavaru, are supporting the offer.

With a total of 42,148 visitors who arrived in the Maldives last year, Spain was one of the top 10 source markets. This year, MMPRC is continuing to focus on this area with a number of market-related events planned. Included in this are cooperative campaigns with well-known tour operators and online travel agencies, OOH advertising in Spain, excursions organized for the Spanish travel media, and familiarization tours.
