Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa located in Dhonakulhi island of Haa Alifu Atoll has officially reopened. Hideaway is one of several resorts in Maldives which halted operations due to COVID-19. 

The resort tucked away in the upper north portion of Maldives also rolled out new discounts to its patrons as part of the reopening.

On the resort's website, offers of pay 6 nights stay 7 nights, pay 8 nights stay 10 nights, pay 11 nights and stay 14 nights are on display. The offer will remain available until April 30, 2021, according to the resort. 

Announcing its reopening on Twitter the resort expressed its excitement to get back to work. Hideaway is often described as an exclusive all-suite Maldives resort for those guests who prefer genuine luxury in privacy.

Accompanying the reopening tweet, CEO, Michael Wieser also sent out a message to those prospective travelers waiting patiently to visit the island. In the video, Michael speaks about the resort's never-ending commitment to ensure the safety of its guests in line with the health safety requirements of the authorities.

The resort is well known for its beachside or over the water villas and the associated privacy levels offered. It is described as the hallmark of the award-winning resort, which also boasts some of the largest beachfront villas in Maldives.
